In Madrid garbage collectors in conflict with the Mayor, headed the demonstration against the Spanish government. Thousands of people protest against pension cuts, cuts to public health services and against bank bailouts.
In Madrid, the head of the demonstration is led by workers cleaning and landscaping just completed their conflict. "Save the public, Save pensions, Save the people" is the main motto of all gears, also of Madrid.
Protests against government policy in all fields convened for this weekend in 55 Spanish cities have already started. The variety of demands on banners pray denotes a general malaise on the part of Spanish society. The unions and the parties have engaged in these marches leaving a secondary role to the anonymous collective. Formally the demonstrations has called the Social Summit, an organization that was born in the early protests by government cuts and that in addition to majority unions, brings together more than one hundred professional and social organizations.
